Specialty Programs for Medical Transcription Graduates and Practicing MTs

Graduates of a medical transcription course, as well as practicing MTs, can enroll in any of the ongoing systems specialties as well as advanced specialties as listed. Specializing increases the value and hence the marketability of an MT. These programs are generally designed for more seasoned MTs with more than 6 months work experience who want to avail for themselves a better understanding of certain fields of medical specialization; they are also designed for graduate MTs who seek to focus on developing themselves as experts in one particular area of expertise. Each specialty program lasts from one to two weeks.
